**NOTE** I wanted to include a page here, telling about the first Maltese puppy I ever sold. When I called Randy & Mary, I asked them to send me some pictures of Max and some background history about life with Max. They sent me much more than I asked for. I am very humbled by their high praise & kind words. If I'd have searched the world a million times - I would have never found a better home for Max. I will always be eternally grateful for finding Randy & Mary. Love you guys!**

In December 1988, my wife and I were watching animal crack ups. They were featuring the Maltese breed, which is how we came to love the breed. We did not want to go to a petstore or puppy mill to find one. We read an ad in the local newspaper - Maltese puppies!!

We went over to look at the puppies and visit with the breeder - Jennifer Hubler, who we have gotten to know and have kept in touch with over the years. After visiting with Jennifer, we could tell that she was a person of great compassion for the breed. We knew then and there that she would handle our adoption !!

We picked out a fiesty little guy, which we named Maxwell. Maxwell filled a void in our lives, at the time we were waiting to adopt our first child. We had him 5 years before adopting our daughter Anna. He was our first baby, we tell people. He loves to snuggle. He's very much a people dog, at least to the ones he knows!

He has gotten a little less tolerant due to his age, but that is to be expected. Now that the kids are both in school, he keeps me company during the day. He was very easy to house train and to this day does not have a problem with that even at his age.

/i//Max_1.jpg We have had Max in our family for almost 14 years and he has been nothing but pure pleasure and we mean that most sincerely. Max is getting to be an old man now and when the day comes for us to part ways.....we know exactly where we are going for our next companion, you guessed it.....right to that compassionate person- Jennifer Hubler. We also had the pleasure of having Maxwell's mother Tiffany(Jennifer's 1st. original Tiffany) spend her last 5 years of her life with us.

We love this breed and will have no other. We can't Thank You enough for allowing us to adopt Max and have Tiffany in our lives. We still miss her alot. Oh by the way, we do have two kids now, Taylor and Anna. They have something in common with Maxwell, they are adopted too, but not from Jen ofcourse-ha ha!!
